"Helldorado" Pistol Range

Rifle and Pistol Club
Is proud of our
"Helldorado" pistol range which has had a rebuild
upgrade of the
backstop and sides done in railroad ties, a steel deflector
shield and sand burm added as requested by the NRA Range
Inspector to make the
range even safer. An addition was put on the cover for the
shooting area to offer more shade during those sunny hot days
and also provide better shelter from those winter rains so that
you can come down regardless of weather conditions and enjoy
your shooting times even more. The range is for the
practicing of handgun shooting skills.
"Helldorado" is
scheduled for use by:
Cowboy Action Shooting- Single Action Shooting Society (SAS)
which meets here every third Sunday to shoot.
The
International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA) Matches are
held the third Saturday of the month.
The CCW training program
uses the range for their qualifying practice on weekend days
that courses are scheduled.
During the "Turkey Shoots" in
November and December pistol and small bore rifle shooting
events are held here for youth as well as adults to enjoy.
We are proud to support the local Law Enforcement
agencies by having use of the range for qualification practice to keep up
their skills as well. You can
always check the calendar to make sure the range isn't
reserved for an event use prior to coming down.
